Mastering the past code to imagine the future architecture
Project Initial State Presentation
Borne Recharge Service is a company that installs and operates electric charging stations in condominiums, homes, and businesses. Initially, we were involved in designing, developing, and maintaining the company's website. After showcasing our expertise, we collaborated alongside the CTO to co-create the architecture and foundations of their core business tool.
Actions Taken
After completing our work on the Borne Recharge Service website, we partnered to conduct a comprehensive codebase audit of the company's core business tool and determine the steps to achieve a new target architecture.
We followed our standard design process:
Stakeholder meetings
Understanding the mission's challenges
Gathering requirements
Defining the application environment (API constraints, performance, security, etc.)
Proposing an architecture, reviewed with the client
Implementing a pilot project based on our proposal
Current Status
The core business tool is in production and continues to evolve, following the proposed hexagonal architecture model.
Client Feedback on Our Intervention
Why did we choose them?
After hearing positive feedback from the marketing team about the website development, I approached Hochi for very specific missions. This strengthened my desire to involve the team in redesigning our tool and its future developments.
